DO’s AND DON’Ts IN DAY TO DAY LIFE - PART 27

SLEEP
Wash feet before going to bed.  When we go out for discharging into a outside filed we have to take cow dung.
Never sleep under a tree.  Gnash out teeth producing sound. Don’t sleep during day time. Don’t go around Banyan tree in the afternoon.
Don’t take bath after bidding farewell to friends or relatives or after a pooja or after marriage ceremony or sacred thread ceremony.


Don’t sweep or throw dirt outside during night.  Don’t cut the earth during night.
Moon should not be seen on Chathurthi days.
Don’t gamble.  
Fire should not be blown out by mouth or by water. Dirty things should not be put into fire. Feet should not be dried by showing it in the fire.
While yawing cover the mouth with hand. 

Without a request don’t tell about Dharma or our duties or penance duties.  This should not be done to those who are lower to us in birth.

Don’t see your own shadow in water or oil except told by Brahaspathi under some circumstances. 
TRAVEL
Enter home or our home town through the front entrance. Don’t stand in the junction of two roads at midnight, at Noon, at Dawn, at dusk or after eating food in Sradham.  One should not stand within 7.5 feet of the place when a cart comes or 15 feet where a horse comes or 1500 feet of the place where an elephant comes.
