About Me

I am Seshadri Vasudevan, from Salem a small but beautiful  town in Tamilnadu. The place is famous for mangoes, handlooms, textiles, sago, jaggery etc. The place is cool in the evenings because of surrounding hills and cool breeze.  The place is also rich with iorn ore deposits, bauxite, magnesite.

The place is covered by  Nagaramali hill on the north, Jarugumalai on the south, Kanjanmalai on the west, Godumalai on the east and Shevaroy hills on the north east.  It is located at 11.67 degree North and 78.14  degree  East.

The place is famous for surrounding hill resorts, near by famous religious, business places like, Rasipuram (famous for ghee), holy place Namakkal, Mohanur, Omalur, Edapadi, Veerapandi, Kurumbapatti Zoological Part and Anna part and a number of temples.

I am from a small middle class back ground though my forefathers were rich and belong to Kangeyam a place near Coimbatore.  Since there are innumerable temples, sabas etc I had the opportunity to listen to discourses when I went along with my mother for companionship and safety. I have been living in West Mambalam, Chennai. My house is very near the famous Ayodhya mandapam where through out the year important religous functions, spirtual discourses, poojas, bhajans etc take place. In a small way I am rendering social service.

I am immensely benefitted by the teachings of Shri. Padmanabhan, Shri Saipremi Dr. R.Balakrishnan, Shri I.V.K. Chari, Shri Kurichi Lakshmi Narasimachariar Swamins and to a great extent from my father-in-law Late Shri T.E.Raghavan @ Jayaraman.  My father, Late, Shri M.V.Seshadri@Pitchukutti Iyengar was a very pious and religious person with great practical wisdom, tolerance, thought and action for upkeeping the tradition and helping downtrodden.
