The world is existing due to chanting of Vedas and our punya bhoomi Bharath is mainly for doing all rituals for the betterment of the entire world. If we are not doing our duties properly we cannot expect the world will be free of sorrows and problems. We are priviledged and let us do the duties for the benefit of all and that is why we always start and end with the following sloka.

paripalayantham Naanyeana margena mahim maheesah |
Gobrahmanebhya shubamsthu nityam Lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu ||
Gobrahmanebhya shubamsthu nityam Lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu ||
Meaning:
May there
be well being to the people; May the kings rule the earth along the right path; May the cattle
and the Brahmins have well being forever; May all
the beings in all the worlds become happy.
