वन्दे शम्भुं उमा-पतिं सुर-गुरुं वन्दे जगत्कारणम्
वन्दे पन्नग-भूषणं मृगधरं वन्दे पशूनां पतिम् ।
वन्दे सूर्य-शशांक-वह्नि-नयनं वन्दे मुकुन्द-प्रियम्
वन्दे भक्त-जनाश्रयं च वरदं वन्दे शिवं शंकरम् ॥

वन्दे भक्त-जनाश्रयं च वरदं वन्दे शिवं शंकरम् ॥
வந்தே சம்பும் உமாபதிம் சுரகுரும்
வந்தே ஜகத் காரணம்
வந்தே பன்னக பூஷனம் மிருகதரம்
வந்தே பசூனாம் பதிம்
வந்தே சூரிய சசாங்க வாஹினி நயனம்
வந்தே முகுந்தப்ரியம்
வந்தே பக்த ஜனாஸ்ரயம் ச வரதம்
வந்தே சிவம் சங்கரம்

Vande Surya Sasanka Vahni Nayanam, Vande Mukunda Priyam,

Meaning:
I salute the great God Shambhu, Who is the consort of Uma, Who is the teacher of Devas, I salute the cause of this universe, I salute who wears snake as ornament, Who carries a deer in his hand, I salute the Lord of all beings, I salute Him who has sun, moon and fire as eyes, I salute Him who is dear to Mukunda, I salute Him who is the refuge of his devotees, Who is the one who gives them great status, And I salute Shiva and Shankara.
