शांता कारम भुजगशयनम पदमनाभं सुरेशाम |

विश्वधारम् गगनसदृशं  मेघवर्णम शुभांगम ||
लक्ष्मीकांतम कमलनयनम  योगीभीरध्यान गम्यम |
वन्दे विष्णूं भवभय हरम्  सर्व लोकैयक नाथम ||

சாந்தாகாரம் புஜகசயனம் பத்மநாபம் ஸுரேசம்
விச்வாகாரம் ககனஸத்ருசம் மேகவர்ணம் சுபாங்கம்
லக்ஷ?மீகாந்தம் கமலநயனம் யோகிஹ்ருத்தயான கம்யம்
வந்தே விஷ்ணும் பவபயஹரம் ஸர்வலோகைக நாதம்

Shanta Karam Bhujaga Shayanam Padmanabham Suresham |
Vishvadharam Gagana Sadrsham Megha Varnam Shubhangam ||
Lakshmi Kantam Kamala Nayanam Yogibhir Dhyana Gamyam |
Vande Vishnum Bhava Bhaya Haram Sarva Lokaiaka Natham ||

Meaning:

I adore Lord Vishnu who is the embodiment of peace, who sleeps  on the Shesha serpent,  whose navel is the source of the Lotus of the Universe,  whose complexion is swarthy like the clouds,  whose body shines with heavenly beauty,  who is the beloved of Goddess Lakshmi, whose eyes are like Lotus, who is meditated upon by the yogis,  who is the remover of the fear of the world-process, the cycle of birth and death.
